How to Use JLM Airco Foam Cleaner

  1. Preparation: Park the car in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors. Turn off the engine and close all windows and doors.
  2. Protective Measures: Wear gloves, safety goggles, and a mask to protect against fumes and the cleaning solution.
  3. Locate Air Intake: Find the air intake for the HVAC system, usually near the base of the windshield or within the engine bay. Refer to your car’s manual if unsure.
  4. Engine Start: Start the engine and set the air conditioning system to maximum settings, including fan speed and cooling mode.
  5. Set Recirculation Mode: Ensure the HVAC system is in recirculation mode, drawing air from inside the cabin.
  6. Shake Can: Shake the Airco Foam Cleaner aerosol can vigorously to mix the contents thoroughly.
  7. Attach Hose: Attach the 120mm sprayer hose securely to the nozzle of the aerosol can.
  8. Insert Hose: Insert the sprayer hose into the air intake, ensuring it is deep enough for proper foam application.
  9. Apply Foam Cleaner: Keeping the can upright, press the nozzle to spray the foam into the intake. The foam will travel into the HVAC system.
